Very comfortable and breathable. I got this firstly because I wanted a lightweight alternative to a tent when backpacking and liked the idea of hammocking. The product did its job well, my friends in a tent were mad that they could hear me snoring after 5 minutes of laying in it while they were up for a while trying to get to sleep! It compresses into a small pouch stitched onto the hammock! The pouch is about 6 or so inches wide, 7 or 8 tall and gets like 3 inches thickness. The hammock itself is plenty long and surprisingly wide, very comfortable for me and some company ;). The price is great for this hammock, since it is so versatile, durable, and comfortable.

Anyway, I've been quite happy with this hammock so far. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I've found it to be comfortable and surprisingly roomy for the "Ultralight" that I expected. I've even been able to fit two people on it, though we are both slender. It feels sturdy, holding about 250 pounds without any sign of strain. The only complaint I have, if you can call it a complaint, is that it generates lots of static because of the fabric's texture. Makes for a good prank or two occasionally.

I have looked high and low for simple hammock ropes, just like these. Reason being, this is the kind of rigging I have for my other hammocks. All I was ever able to find were ones that would need screws, that go directly into a tree, with the round deal for the rope to go through. I'm not very good at this description, as you may have noted, lol. I found other weird hammock stuff too, that was nowhere near what I needed. THESE are what I've needed. I've actually bought some nice quality rope, in the past, and made my own, just like these. When I ordered a hammock for my nephew, the description said that it came with ropes, but it did not. I thought I'd take another chance at looking for the ropes I wanted and, walla, here was this nice little rope "kit" on Amazon. The carry bag is a bonus and the ropes work just fine. Plus, the price is great. And, the name brand is one of high quality, in my opinion and experience. Not much more to say, other than thumbs up to this product. It's always good to have back up ropes too, or ones for extensions so, this is the way to go. A + a gold star, or five.

After I buy this Eagles Nest Outfitters DryFly Raintarp

This rainfly rocks my hammock. I use a Hennessy Hammock and the standard Asym tarp is just not enough coverage for my liking. This thing will cover the hammock entirely! Both protection from rain and wind, which is great all year but especially if you are winter hammock camper. Love the guyline locks, making it really easy to tighten the hammock down without getting your hands muddy or wet trying to adjust knots tied to stakes.

I did add a ridgeline on the underside because in things like heavy rain and snow I enjoy having that added support. It is fairly easy. I used 7 strand paracord and tied it between the 2 loops on each side, then looped it back on itself and tied a taught-line hitch in case it stretched under pressure or rain I could just reach up and tighten it a bit.

The other really neat thing about this tarp is that on the center stake out points, the tarp bunches up slightly to form a sort of cup that center where the rain drips off, and here you could place a cup or pot to collect rain water all night making breakfast or coffee prep in the morning really nice!

My only dislike is the tarp did not come with an integrated stuff sack. Which is really ok for me since I use the Hennessy Hammock Snakeskins for it anyhow. But that is misleading in the included information.

This rainfly rocks my hammock. I use a Hennessy Hammock and the standard Asym tarp is just not enough coverage for my liking. This thing will cover the hammock entirely! I was looking for something that was portable, inexpensive and did the job. Based on previous reviews and pictures, I took a chance on this product. I have to say, after unpacking this product I'm impressed of the quality. While I haven't put it to work yet, I believe it'll be a fine filet table for many years to come. I was also surprised how sturdy the top is - I figured it would be material that cheaper priced plastic banquet/picnic tables are - and I would have been fine with that, but I'm thinking it's much more sturdy than those. I like the fish measuring ability on the outside lip of the table, the open hole for discarding, the small reservoir that will hold enough water to throw the filets, dishes, etc. in to soak. In general seems like it could be put to work for general camping use too (washing dishes, table top, etc.). This may be a little heavier than you would expect but nothing out of control - I think the weight to it speaks more for the quality top than anything.

When you can go to some outdoor stores, and get an oversized cutting board that costs $40, you cannot go wrong spending the extra $30 for a full setup. Overall I'm very impressed of the quality - this table is a good value. Now I need to go out and actually catch some fish.

After reading some other reviews I was a little worried about not fitting in this hammock (I am just over 6 ft tall 155 pounds) and not being able to get a good diagonal lay. Some very slight fraying along a seem when it arrived (not serious and likely would have never amounted to anything) was an easy fix with some adhesive. Really nice. This will be my new go to hammock for most backpacking. Set it up with Whoopie Slings! Also, the Tan looks stylish with my navy Tarp.

It was a gift and I wasn't sure about the extra weight, but they turned out to be a great accessory and were used while stopping for a quick lunch without the pad and while hanging out by the fire pit at night and morning. We also have used them at music festivals and the awesome (and free) millennium park summer shows in Chicago. They roll up and fit easily in a back pack and we really haven't used them with the pad since our backpacking trip. I was a little worried about the durability, especially when using them without a pad but all of the pressure points are reinforced and the metal bars do a good job of supporting your weight. I wouldn't recommend these without the pad if you're pushing 200lbs though. I'm 165 and my wife is probably 125ish (i'm not asking her, sorry)

They roll up and fit easily in a back pack and we really haven't used them with the pad since our backpacking trip. I was a little worried about the durability, especially when using them without a pad but all of the pressure points are reinforced and the metal bars do a good job of supporting your weight. I wouldn't recommend these without the pad if you're pushing 200lbs though. I'm 165 and my wife is probably 125ish (i'm not asking her, sorry)

It was a gift and I wasn't sure about the extra weight, but they turned out to be a great accessory and were used while stopping for a quick lunch without the pad and while hanging out by the fire pit at night and morning.
